I believe that Degree works the best. They have come out with a whole new line of fragrances in their deodorants and they have body sprays as well. Degree is the best because it stops perspiration better than any deodorant I've ever used. They also have their 'clinical' deodorant. This special kind really helps the people with the worst perspiration problems.

Old Spice is what I've used for years. Nothing smells as good as that to me, it keeps me dry, and people comment that I "smell good." I use the pure sport scent. If you haven't tried it, give it a go.

The best deoderant that I have used is plain ole aloe vera gel. You can get it in the summer for sunburns, in a pump spray.
I was telling my grandmother that every time I used antipersperant, I broke out in a rash. And it was miserable. She told me that Aloe vera gel is all she ever used. Now that is what I use. Works great.
The benefits of using aloe vera gel is that it does not have aluminum in it. If you look on most commercial deoderants you will see that aluminum is in it in one form or another.
The thing about aluminum is a study they did on the brains of patients who had alzheimers. They found that all of them had a high concentration of aluminum in their brains. Gross I know, sorry.

This all depends on how strong your normal body odor is combined with what you do throughout the day..
For some people, they can skip a shower for a week and still not smell particularly bad. A good choice for those people is a simple deodorant without an anti-perspirant such as Old Spice, Axe, or Right Guard.
For those who have a strong natural odor or work up a sweat throughout the day at work and such, a stronger product that combines and anti-perspirant is the way to go. Sure, Degree, Secret, and Mitchum are some of the popular ones.
You have to choose based on how much funk you generate on an average day, what you are doing, and the weather. In a cold climate, you'll probably sweat less than someone in Miami.
For me, I don't smell much for some reason even after a couple of days so I stick with Axe body spray combined with Right Guard Ocean Breeze mild deodorant.
