Answered Conundrum Next Conundrum
Is it true that it's bad for the hair to always use the same shampoo or is this just a myth?
One hair stylist told me that using the same shampoo all the time dries the hair out and that it's best to change shampoo every few months. Is there any truth to this? It's hard to tell if it's the shampoo or just changes in weather or diet.

It's sort of true.
Your hair won't become immune to shampoo as some claim. Most don't leave buildup anymore. The main time you should change your shampoo is if your hair changes. Is your scalp oily? Hair dry? Breaking easily? A bit too frizzy? Look for products to suit the needs of your hair at the time. Many people use different products during summer and winter for their different needs due to the weather changes.
