Who hasn't had this happen?

Usually, it it happens at your regular hair dresser, they will recognize the situation and remedy it with a modified cut, or at the very least refund your money and also the following visit.

If it is at a hair dresser you have not been to before, most often than not they will offer the same rectification.

If not? Remain calm. Keep your composure, ask to speak to the manager or owner. Do not be rude, but do not let your message get lost either. Usually the pressure of other clients seeing your fouled hair is incentive enough to have them do something for you.

Remember, if it was a lack of talent and you do not trust them, your regular hair dresser or one recommended by a friend can do miracles to recover from bad hair styles/cuts. Hey you can sometimes use it as the perfect moment to try a new look.

I'd pay and then ask for my money back 110 times over. They can't accuse me of trying to get out of the bill. I now have a receipt in my pocket so that I can copy it a zillion times and send one out with a picture of my hair cut to the BBB and all my friends. BTW, don't let them touch your hair again. That's like asking the chef to redo your food. The chef throws it on the floor and puts it back into a dirty dish. You will wish you had just shaved your head!

Bad haircuts are never fun. You have to live with the results, day in and day out until the cut grows out, which, if your hair grows slowly can take a loooooooooooong time. That said, odds are that your hairdresser didn't mean to give you a bar haircut. Getting angry or refusing to pay for a service that was performed, albeit not as well as you might have liked, is not a sensible option. What you could do is ask for your hairdresser to fix your hair for free, which he or she should do. Another option would be to reduce the amount of the tip, or not tip at all. Finally, you could find a new hairdresser. All of these are better options than taking out your wrath on someone who was more than likely trying to give you the best haircut possible.

I have an idea to avoid a bad haircut, Make the hairdresser sign an agreement after you discussed how you want your hair cut so there is no misunderstanding ,If it turns out bad you dont pay
