Well, all fashion sense aside (which is pretty much what is true in the state I live in, since it gets so cold that all fashionableness is quickly forgotten and replaced by comfort and warmth), I think I would wear my winter coat until either the weather changed and became warmer or until I personally felt comfortable enough to leave my winter coat behind. In our area, winter typically ends somewhere in late March to early April and once all the snow melts away and the sun warms up the day, most people automatically shed their winter clothing and bring out cooler sweaters or just plain shirts.

I pay no attention to fashion. If it were 30 degrees in the middle of July, I'd wear my winter coat. If it were 75 degrees in December, I'd wear shorts. I am more of a practical dresser than one of fashion. To me, fashion is the art of looking good, regardless of comfort....comfort is way to important for me.

I'm not a fashion-wise person. If it's comfortable I wear it. If it's cold out I'm wearing a coat. The threat of looking unfashionable is not worth freezing. We actually had a cold front go through yesterday and it was 39 degrees this morning so, if I had to go out you can bet I would be wearing my coat.
