Answered Conundrum Next Conundrum
Would you give up on being considered beautiful if your face wasn't conforming to the "golden ratio"?
This article suggests that beauty is not in the eye of the beholder, but in the ratios of the face:

After reading this if you measured your face and didn't come up golden, would you feel "ugly"? Would you give up on trying to look good in life? or ignore it and go on as usual?

"Angelina Jolie does not have golden length and width ratios," he said.
"Elizabeth Hurley gets the golden ratio for length but is different from the width golden ratio by one percent."
But Canadian country pop musician Shania Twain has "both the length and width ratios."
With these samples and Cheapgamer's tastes I find Angelina the most attractive person on the list and Shania the least attractive, thus rendering the conclusion bunk in my eyes ^_^
The thing is any test like this works on average, but this means that there is still room for individual taste.

It is very stupid to base beauty based on this article, and even more stupid to feel ugly and give up on life because you seems for not measuring up to some standard of beauty. There are more to life then being labeled beautiful by some people.
Beauty is how you take care of yourself, how you clean and take care of yourself, how you wear suitable and tasteful clothes, walk and act with confidence and grace. And most important, your personality and character. Physically, Oprah falls short of these standard of beauty, but there are hardly people who will label her "ugly".
