There is no way on earth that I would do that. My whole head could turn into one giant pimple and burst all over my bedroom before I would put urine on my face. I would just as soon use poop as hand cream, or vomit as hair gel.

There are times when the cure is worse than the illness, and this is obviously one of those times. Can you imagine the smell? How could you even accomplish it without puking all over yourself? Then again, I guess having puke running down your shirt might not bother you if you are washing your face in pee...?

This is not outlandish, it is bizarre and disgusting.

Urine as a cure for acne? Well, maybe some of us had a mom, aunt, or grandmother, who used to lick their thumb and wipe off a smudge around our mouth when we were kids. From a purely scientific viewpoint, this practice should actually be more disgusting than wiping pee on your face, since saliva typically contains greater amounts of bacteria than urine does. So technically, urine would actually be more sanitary to use on your face than saliva. However, given what we know about urine (it is a waste product that exits our body through our private area) the use of urine for any hygienic purpose may seem completely absurd and almost self-defeating. However, urine has been found to be rich in nutrients, hormones, antibodies, and certain proteins that fight off infections. Also, since urine is a derivative of blood, it contains almost no micro-organisms (unlike saliva, which can be bacteria-infested) and can therefore be used as a topical treatment, as well as an ingestible treatment (which is likely the less favorable alternative). A person’s own urine is the most beneficial treatment for certain ailments since it contains among other elements antibodies specifically from that person’s own body that can help fight off effects of a disease. However, each person definitely has to decide for themselves whether the unpleasant effects (smell, taste, stinging, etc) of urine that may accompany topical application or ingestion during treatment efforts are worth finding a potential remedy or alleviation of the symptoms.

It may seem a bit absurd to some people, but i think that if you are serious about getting rid of acne, you have to give this a try.

Rub it on my face? Maybe, as long as it was my own and only if I had really bad acne. Drink it to cure acne? Absolutely not.

Urine is actually sterile (unless you have a bladder infection of couse), so there's no reason for it to be harmful at all. In fact, drinking one's own urine has been a health craze in Europe for a long time. It's said to rejuvenate the body and replenish nutrients that are urinated out. Honestly? I would not drink my own pee, unless I was stuck in the middle of a desert with no other hope for survival. Then I might. It's just the gross out factor that's so bad.

no. but i have heard about mixing cinnamon and honey and make a paste
but it on the acne over night and watch your face the next day do this for a couple of weeks and it will remove the root of the acne.

If nothing else was working for me and it was continuing to get worse...then yes I would give it a try...but I would keep it to myself...people are cruel these days.

That is just rediculous!!! I would think that the only beneficial part of the urine is the ammonia in it.So why not just rub your face with diluted ammonia???

Has naught to do with a bright face.

I will not try the urine cure,
I'll live with zits instead for sure,
If pee belonged upon my face,
The exit would have been there placed.

Won't cover my face in body waste.
