I don't fear aging per se, but I do worry about getting older without accomplishing the things I want to accomplish. I am not that old, but sometimes when I read about the milestones reached by my peers (e.g. a girl who graduated from my college the same year I did just won the Pulitzer Prize) I feel my age and all that I haven't yet done.
I have definitely had the thought that time is slipping away and with it, possibility. All I can do to combat these feelings is begin working towards some of the things that I always wanted or meant to do before more time expires.

I actually don't fear aging. I do, however, sometimes look at my life now and wish I could go back and erase all that last time I spent getting it wrong and start getting it right so much sooner. So much I'd do differently.
Then I remind myself: it took all the experiences I've had up until know to make me who I am, the writer that I am, the knowledge that I have, etc. Without it all, I wouldn't have this life -- and that's the paradox.
I gave up on vanity when the cellulitis tore my foot and leg apart like raw meat and the wheelchair became a common fixture in my life. Vanity doesn't matter. Well, except, I've got this really awesome, super long and beautiful red hair - it is my one vanity, I suppose, but that won't change with age--it might just become a different color is all.
So no, I don't fear growing older anymore at all, because every year older really IS a year wiser for me, and I can't help but keep feeling the best really is yet to come.
