Answered Conundrum Next Conundrum
How often, if ever, do you feel more joy for someone else's achievement than you do for one of your own achievements?
In this question I am not implying that one would not feel genuine joy for the achievements of others, rather how often does that joy really surpass the joy you would feel it it were your own achievement.

The first thing that comes to my mind would be to answer, "When it is your child's achievement".
Don't we parents "preen" and glow when our child is in a school play or musical, or wins a scholastic award, or graduates from high school or college, or marries, or celebrates a special anniversary, or especially has a child of his or her own?
What fantastic feelings that take a parent out of his or her own life!!
On the other hand, you want your children to feel joy for your achievements, too!!
