It was a coincidence. Planes do not crash /often/, but it's... not exactly an impossible occurrence. As well, people dream of plane crashes and other accidents all the time - it's apparently a rather common dream.
If the person had... I don't know, seen an exact time, a flight number, /something/ to make the dream other than 'a plane crashed', and that had matched up, that would be far more plausible as an example of precognition.

After Final Destination I would have a hard time knowing what to believe! I would honeslty...most likely lean more towards believing them for the time being...but I would want to see what they may "dream/guess" at next...if they got something else correct then I just might confide in them for my future...

At first, I would listen about their dream carefully. I think I would believe at first time.....because may be it can happen....just make a calculation -in the world billion billion people dreams everyday, and I think of course somebody dreams about plane crush. But very fortunately my neighbor dreamed it that day. I am a simple boy and believe to human much. So I would believe.
BUT I would record their speech in my brain. Then after somedays may I will ask again about it, if the story changed somewhere, I would left my believe then.

I would think it was a coincidence unless my friend actually knew someone on the plane. It could still be a coincidence, because they may have been very stressed over the idea of their loved one being on the plane so they dreamed about it, and the plane happened to crash. But I guess in that case I might consider that they foresaw it, because our minds are capable of some pretty wild things.

I'd think it was a coincidence. A plane crash isn't that uncommon of a thing to dream about, after all. It's a common fear that many people have, and fears like that often show up in dreams. For me, it's cars. I dream about car crashes all the time, but I don't think every traffic incident is somehow something I predicted.
That said, there have been a few weird coincidences. Last summer I had a dream involving a red cotton dress I'd never remembered seeing before in my life. I found a dress just like it in my closet a week later. I probably just remembered it subconsciously, but still. And then this fall I had a dream that I went to a blood drive that also served as a get-out-the-vote drive for the mayoral candidates here. A few days ago, I saw a sign advertising a blood drive, and a flyer posted on it that said "CANDIDATES FORUM." Coincidence again, but I think it's amusing.
