Oh goodness no. While I think I'd do better than some people -- I mean I wouldn't be starting a genocidal war or breaking the bank with my own spending -- but I have no idea how to run the world! It's tough enough to run a household sometimes!

I'll admit I wouldn't mind helping make some decisions thought. It's a nice idea to think I could possibly be a part of something that would improve the quality of life for people. Maybe helping irrigate places, or bringing clean drinking water to villages, offering education to children that otherwise would never even learn to read or write, making sure no one ever had to starve again, clothing the poor, removing racism from society, etc...I could go on and on.

But the truth of the matter is, were I given the opportunity it'd likely end up like that Simpson's episode where Homer buys the magical monkey's paw. He gets 4 wishes. Lisa has her turn and wishes for world peace. Everyone is getting along, hugging, loving each other so much that they toss their weapons away. There's none left on the entire planet! Sounds great huh? Well it is until the earth is invaded by aliens. Using a board and a nail we manage to fight them off (yeah right!) and survive. Yeah, I'd mess everything up just like Lisa Simpson did!

Yes! Of course yes! Had it been even for a day or even for an hour. Victory has its own glory, charm and powers. I would rather die a victor or emperor within 24 hours of my crowning than die a common man who did his century. Have you heard the famous saying "It is better to reign in Hell than to serve in Heave"? It is very true.

Although you did not ask what would I do once I have it, let me tell you that if possible I would try for a total global nuclear and general disarmament. I would simply order to dismantle them and put the nuclear fuel in them to generate electricity instead.

Another thing I would do is to unite all the nations and continents of this world into a single big nation. Then no body can wedge a war on anybody else as everybody will belong to the same nation.
