It depends on how widely they define "my dream". Since a big part of my dream is to have $50 million, it might be a situation in which I simply can't lose. If I wasn't allowed to pursue a business in a specific field, I could always choose a different industry and still probably be very happy. I think I'd take the deal. However, if they put limitations on how I could spend the money, that might change things.

What are they expecting in return for the money? No strings.. of course I'd take it. I don't know anyone who wouldn't. Otherwise it would depend what the cost of getting such a deal was.

Since my biggest dream is to win the lottery jackpot, I'd surely take that $50 million! It's like I've won the jackpot with that. My second big dream is to work in the US but, I think I could give it up for that amount of money. With that amount, I don't need to work anymore in the US. I'd build my dream business here in the Philippines.

$50 million dollars could buy me a new dream.....seriously.

You could do virtually whatever you wanted with that kind of money...and live happily ever after without becoming an artist, astronaut or a cowboy.....

I am very open to discovering and pursuing any number of things in life, and I am definitely not stuck on one particular dream or plan, so it would only make sense to accept that kind of money in order to help secure financial stability for myself and my loved ones.

I could certainly understand someone else's point of view if they didn't want to give up their dream, however. To each his own! He or she might even have a way of doing more for the world with that dream than what I could do with my 50 million dollars, so who knows?

Maybe I could even help someone by funding important cancer research, and together we'd accomplish new dreams for many people.

If it was a one-shot deal, I would give up one dream. I would not give up ALL dreams, or continually give up whatever I wanted to do, because then what would be the point of having the money? If, however, the deal was to say, give up my professional dream, I would happily take the money and pursue other dreams, such as having a family, buying a farm, and pursuing my hobbies. I would sometimes wonder what it would have been like to have refused the money and pursued my goal to become a mental health counselor, but I'm sure I would be able to use my money to keep me happy, traveling and such.

I suppose it would be different if I had only one real dream. Then maybe I would say no. But I have so many things I want to do and experience, that I would probably give one of them up to pursue the others. The only dream I would not give up for money would be being a mom.

Yes, I would. I have many dreams, so giving up on would be nothing. I could always pursue another with that kind of money.

What dream? The dream of having work to take care of my family I could invest this and live off the interest-so yes. The dream of having a happy healthy family and watching them grow up-then no-fifty million is not worth loneliness and I could not think of which one of my kids I would give back. To pursue a quest then yes to a small inconvienence. Could I have one of my kids pursue it?

I have several dreams, including traveling around the world, becoming a writer, open my own business, and live financially secure. I also want to build a family. I can give up some of these dreams, but not all. Besides, what's the use of that money if I can't be financially secure for the rest of my life? Also, what would I use the money for if I can't travel to the places I want? I can give up career related dreams easily though, because when you get 50 million, you don't need to work for the rest of your life.

To have someone offer me $50 million dollars IS my dream. Seriously, if they didn't actually stipulate what dream because I have several then sure I would!
