I'd go out killing pedophiles... it's considered a crime to kill ANYBODY but... they go unpunished so often I'd actually be glad to make some justice out there, justice that is not made by authorities often due to bribes and corruption. It would be a 'crime' that actually reduces some of the worst crimes around...

If I could commit a crime and know that I would get away with it, I will still not do it because I may get away from police or other authorities but I will be guilty for the rest of my life and won't have peace of mind. I think this is worst than being imprisoned physically.
Guilt is something that will give us sleepless nights, worries, and other anxieties and I don't want that to happen to me for it will take a toll on my health and affect my family's welfare too. Committing a crime will not be worth it.

My first thought on this question would be to answer a solid "no." But then I got to thinking about whether there might be exceptions. The one that came to mind was, "what if a best friend or immediately family member needed a pharmaceutical medicine they could not afford ... what if it was something they would need in order to stay alive?" In that instance, I WOULD illegally obtain the medicine if I knew a way to do so.
So I guess my answer is that--if doing so would mean the difference between life and death for someone I loved--I might do something that is considered criminal in the eyes of the law.

I may commit a crime that I knew I would get away with if it were a necessity. Laws are in place to offer safety and security to the people of our nation. If the crime didn't physically hurt another person or cause real damage to a person's life, I may consider doing it. For example, if a millionaire left a possibility of putting me in a position to steal several thousand dollars, and I wouldn't get caught, I probably would, but I wouldn't do it to the guy next door who is struggling to put his kids through school.
