Of course number of my facebook friend is a great fact especially to me. I use facebook,twitter,myspace tripple not for findding someone. I need a lot of friends to make social advertisement. My site is going to launch soon may be in next three months.So I targeted facebook to make many many friends. Lets make a sum.

My target is 1000 or more friends in facebook now it is may 248, because my facebook life is not so old.When I will launch my site then my friends number surely will increase in 1000! Then everyday I will post my link with different attractive texts. Like "Hey guys check it out here is a great page for earning online!" "Need horoscope? Come on with this link!" "Wow! a daily updated site with latest pricing of computer parts and accessory."
And many many attractive text with links.Then I think I will must get 10-30 visitors from here thats enough for a new site and my adwords will also work.So no worry about visitors. Do you thinking that a person will not click on these link more than one?Not a act my new friends adding will be continued.

Now about friendship. When I entered in facebook there was no known person but now I have some really good friends in facebook. We also met in real. So my real friends will placed in my mind the number of facebook is not a fact and my real friends also know my habit/profession. So they will not mind or feel jealous.


So atlast I will say number of friends of facebook is really important to me. I don't know about others but I think facebook also a great place to make manual advertisement. Mostly developers and web masters and bloggers follow my ways.

It's not very important, but I do feel like it is an indicator of how much of an "online social life" you have.

The actual number of friends you have on facebook should not be important to you, the main focus should be on the fact that they are really your friend and you can share your life's experiences with them.

Not at all...it's a place for me to stay in touch with old friends from school, those who have gone to college, and family in other cities and states. It's not a popularity contest it's a stay connected website...
