Russian Ice Dancers Oksana Domnina and Maxim Shabalin in the Olympics did a routine that Aboriginal leaders found offensive. Your opinion?

When the Russian pair did the Aboriginal dance at the European Championships in January, they drew unfavorable judgment from Aboriginal leaders who found the dance and costumes offensive. Domnina and Shabalin toned down their costumes and removed their face paint, but made no changes to their Aboriginal dance. So do you feel it was offensive or are people making a big deal out of nothing?

It's so absurd it seems like a parody that should be in a cheesy movie. Those two clowns are making themselves look like complete morons. It's like when white people use to do "black face" and pretend to be African American. Just racist and stupid.
Those two should recognize that a) what they are doing is NOT authentic to aboriginal culture in any way (the fact that aboriginals are saying so should have been a hint), and b) it wouldn't be their place anyway. They should have stuck to something that was genuine and a reflection of their own culture.
They embarrassed their whole country as well as their sport.

I don't see what there is to be offended about, but I personally don't care for the costumes. I think that figure skating should be elegant and classy. Why aren't more people complaining that she's not wearing an attractive evening gown?
