I don't really care either way as long as they know what their doing and earned their position.

However from a strategic stand point women are better for me as they tend to challenge me less. When climbing an employment ladder if there is a man above a woman he's less likely to listen and more likely to try to dominate. In that case I don't I have to just prove I'm better until she folds into her nail file.. I have to entirely crush all hope he has of exceeding my skill, that's not an easy task.

Yes, I do prefer to be management and I usually quickly am.

I feel that i would prefer a male boss personally. I dont mean to offend anyone, but as a male i find it hard to take instructions from a female. I would take a job if my boss was a female but i would prefer to take command from a male.

Female boss. I have had 3 female bosses and 5 male bosses. By far, the female bosses were more secure (emotionally mature), better mentors and more protective. I always advanced faster and was more successful under women than men.

I prefer female bosses. I am a male and the only time I have been treated poorly by a female boss is when her male boss was riding her back. Men are more likely to beleive they can manage effectively through intimidation. The women I have worked for tended to build organizations through mutual respect and loyalty.

Depends on the job -- I've had both male and female bosses that have been good and bad.

I find it easier working with strong women. I seem to become sensitive when men tell me I have made a mistake. I k now it isn't fair or probably even correct but I feel like a woman is more understanding with employees.
