Answered Conundrum Next Conundrum
What measure would you take if you could not get pregnant?
Would you so see a specialist? Would you consider artificial insemination? How about adoption? My sister believes she is infertile. She is not sure what she will do. What do you think you would do?

I'm not sure what would be right for your sister, but why doesn't she just wait a bit. Often fertility problems sort themselves out.
Also, in this day and age, why not consider not having children in those difficult economic times with so many relationships and marriages breaking up on the smallest difficulties!
My husband and I never wanted to have children although we could have had them. We just didn't feel equipped to handle kids. But we do love kids, so we work with kids a lot and help other families in the neighborhood. We feel better like that.
Yes, there was a time that I thought: Now or never. But those days go away and then one focuses on different things, it's a nice life without kids as well.
One friend of ours had adopted 2 children with his wife, then the wife did a runner - too much work for her.
Two of my girl friends, one married and one widowed, also never had kids and instead we all have a lot of pets.
I personally do not want to have a child when it's not certain that I can give it at least the same happy life and education as my parents gave to us. Somehow it seems very uncertain these days if kids will grow up in a nurturing environment.
So why doesn't your sister just wait a bit and relax and inform herself about fertility treatments and adoption etc.?

My aunt and uncle could not conceive. They adopted my cousin. I know it was a hard road. This was over 20 years ago. They were supposed to get a little girl the year before. The couple backed out at the last minute. There were alot of tears and some pain, but they were so blessed to get their son. They then said everything happens for a reason.
I was lucky to be able to have my own kids. If I could not, I would not hesitate trying anything else. I absolutely love being a parent. I would adopt, consider seeing a specialist or do what I had to.
I would even adopt a child that was older.
There is nothing like being a Mom or Dad!
