What would make a person deserve an after-life of punishment?
If you were in charge of punishment and reward in the after-life, who would you punish? Not specific names, but what kind of people. Would all punishment be eternal or would their "sentences" vary by the severity of their crimes.

If I were in charge of punishment in the hereafter I would exert punishment to those that took a life without cause. Also to those that inflicted suffering purposefully on others. Those that committed heinous acts and had no remorse, those that were deliberate and sociopathic murderers, child molesters and the such I would condemn to eternal suffering.
All others, I would extend a mechanism to curtail their sentence by allowing them to spend a few centuries helping mankind as "angelic beings" or, if my Boss ( I imagine it would be God, or if there is a Heavenly bureaucracy, then whoever is the czar for salvation in Heaven), approved it, I would allow them to be born again on earth and give them a second chance to make themselves worthy.

if the charge is given to me then i will punish those who spread terrorism and kill innocent people without any cause.and also to them who fight on the name of religion and insult innocents girls mean rape them.this kind of people should be eliminated from the earth and not given any comfort after death throughout their life after death.there are every person who makes crime in their life but their crime is not big as i mention few on the top.so their punishment will be less than them.

I would punish those who killed another person, who raped another person and anyone who inflicts serious crimes on the elderly or children. I would also punish violent hitting abusers of any kind. I would not let them be happy, or have a good afterlife I would put on them a curse to feel the pain that they made their victim feel everyday, so they know what it felt like and make them feel that everyday in their afterlife as punishment.
