The latter (I think). If I was lucky I probably wouldn't realise I didn't have any talent. :-) I know plenty of people who are successful (that is they make money) at what they do but have no talent for it. Many best-selling authors fall into this category. Dan Brown for instance.

I suppose I would prefer to be talented. I would only choose luck for financial reasons. However if I was talented, not only could I use that to help with an income, but I also wouldn't be bored. I could make a career of my talent and maybe leave here being known for something....rather than just the lucky one.

I guess I would rather be the lucky one but I feel the truth is people make their own luck. But I have seen money fall into the laps of people for just being in the right place at the right time. But unlucky talented people just never get a break to get ahead.
