Right, and hated.

Knowledge can't buy friends, but ignorance ensures a sell-out crowd.

Right and hated, definitely for sure.

I often find myself in the position of being right.... Well in a position where people don't at the time understand why i'm taking a certain line/decision at least. In time mostly people do see the reason but for a while I might not be liked.

I'm not in business to be wrong or to be loved so that doesn't apply to me really.

These sort of emotions don't really apply to my family/personal life.

Right and hated. Jesus was right and hated. Whether or not you believe in Jesus, His perseverence and incorruptibility are exemplary to us all.

I want to be right and loved! But since that wasn't quite the question...

There are times I need to be right and will do so at the expense of being hated. Sometimes the greater good, the best and highest purpose, means I take a hit. It all works out in the end.

There are times that being loved is more important than being right - and, more importantly, being loving is more important than being right. Sometimes the good of one means I take a hit. It all works out in the end.

Either way, the ego takes a hit, and I'm willing to take the hit in either instance for the right reasons in the right circumstances. Let's hope that experience helps me to differentiate.

It has to do with integrity and belief in your self, actually. No one wants to be hated, but you have to realize that if someone is going to hate you because you proved them incorrect, they are in the wrong, not you. It is their issue to deal with.

Of course, you don't want to rub it in that you were right, or you will be the one in the wrong. Integrity has to do with being able to defend what is right, no matter what the consequences. Many of the signers of the Declaration of Independence were punished and died in poverty for their actions, but they did what was right. Throughout history, men and women have done what was right and paid a heavy toll. Look at Martin Luther King. He died for what he knew was right. Many man and women have died defending what is right.

Everyone wants to be loved, but to be loved at the cost of your integrity is never worth it. As the Bible says in Matthew, "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? "

All though we all have an inherent need to be loved, and I am certain we all have compromised ourselves to one degree or another at least once to receive praise, I would still rather be right and hated.

I realize that there will be times when I will compromise myself just to be liked, but more often than not, I do hold strong when I am right, even if I am hated.

To be right and hated is my choice, since it is not absolute everyone would have a hate responses to me, sometimes in long run people against would see my point of view and will understand. Hate is a negative subjective experience. I thought there is really no reason to hate somebody for stating his/her point. I would rather argue something that i disagree with rather than hate that person. Hate is a lose-lose response.

Right and hated.
Why?
Love dissappears.
Hate lasts longer.

Relationship-wise, the woman is always right in the end, I have learned this the hard way. So that's why for relationships I am will be wrong as long as I get the "love" from it, hehe. I am a stubborn individual so I like to be right unless, as is the case, my fiance is even more stubborn than me, then being right easily means being hated and sleeping on the couch, lol.

Now, when dealing with others, being right is very important to me... I may be OK with being wrong in a relationship, but at least I get something out of it, haha.

Right and Hated. Why, because I hate being wrong. It drives me nuts and if I am wrong I have to find the correct answer as soon as possable. Besides being wrong makes me feel stupid so I guess Right and Hated will have to stick.

Loved. Period. The satisfaction of being right is fleeting, but be truly loved once, and you'd trade a life full of mediocre moments for that one.
