Conundrum Next Conundrum

If the Health Care Bill is so glorious, so historic, why would the House want to pass it via an obscure House rule without a direct vote?

I have heard it promoted as the "salvation," the best thing since man discovered fire, the President just a week and a half ago called for a straight yes-no vote, now this monstrously large piece of legislation, what can be characterized as the largest piece of legislation in the careers of all current House members, will likely be pushed through by using House parliamentary rules, with no vote, no record of who voted yea or voted nay.

Doesn't anybody want the glory for this "historic salvation?"

These tactics remind me of my country's legislative body from 10+ years ago. Congratulations, your Congress is becoming like the Mexico of old. (Trust me, that is nothing to celebrate)

Because Obama can't even get all of his people to go for it.

Obviously, you are a conservative. I really don't feel like this is a "conundrum" and it isn't appropriate for this site, sorry.

First telling the truth does not define which party I am with. Check the voting record it is public. The fact of your response to it's appropriateness I think has made it more of a Conundrum.
