Conundrum Next Conundrum
If a girl who asked me to ask her out can't find time for a date after 3 weeks of trying is she politely blowing me off or is she just busy?
I found out she broke up with her boyfriend who she lives with a month before we met.

Sounds like she just needed attention and it might be enough that you show interest. Rebound dating can really suck.
If you stop pursuing her she might actually find the time. But do you really want to spend time with someone that only shows an interest when she's being ignored or abused? Look at her last boyfriend. If you're not like him, chances are she's not really attracted to you.
I know they broke up, but people have dating patterns that are hard to ignore. Do yourself a favor and go after a girl that is emotionally available and mature. Don't waste time with the leftovers from someone else's bad relationship. You deserve better.

Her breakup was pretty recent, so that says to me that she was on the rebound but perhaps has reconsidered since then. Could be she's smart enough to know that getting into a new relationship is not a good idea so soon after a breakup. If she really wanted to go out with you, she'd have asked you directly, not "asked you to ask her." You'd be wise to forget her for now and give her some time to heal before asking her out again.
