What are some classy date ideas for under $50?

It's a third date, we've done fun stuff like bowling and museums, now I want to do a nice and romantic night but don't want to spend too much.

Is cooking for him or her out of the question? Do you have a specialty? For 50 dollars you can get dinner, dessert, an acceptable bottle of wine, and have enough left over for either candles for the candle-lit home-cooked meal, or enough to rent a movie.

Have fun!

You can't get more romantic with a picnic! Pack up that picnic basket and whisk her away to someplace special, a beach, park, lake, woods or even a rooftop overlooking a great view would be fantastic!

My husband and I have a secret spot we found. It was near a little private air strip, we used to get on the hood of the car, lay down and watch the planes take off while holding hands. It was so romantic!!

I agree with Leslie about the picnic idea. Maybe you could even find a nice open-concert in a part and bring your picnic there. In my area we have a lot of 'free' Jazz festivals. It makes for a very nice, relaxed environment. Great music, great food & wine and hope for nice weather.
