Nope. I grew weary some time in the middle of last season. They're still clinging way too closely to their formula from Season 1...It's making the show egregiously repetitive. I know it's supposed to mirror comic books in that way, but comics can get away with recycling some basic ideas because people are really focused on the characters and the artwork more than the specifics of the plot. In TV, particularly a "cliffhanger"-oriented thriller like "Heroes," telling an interesting, unpredictable story becomes a lot more important.

I still think Season 1 was really good, but none of the other season's plot arcs have even come close. (Honestly, my issues began early on in Season 2. What the hell was all that "Hiro in Feudal Japan" crap. Just boring.)

When it comes to heroes it pretty much depends on which series you are watching.

We loved Season 1 was fresh and new... and offered the promise of something great. And there were all of these extra shows about the 'making of heros' and they all said how great it was.

Season 2 didn't really deliver on the promise of series one. It was, admittedly made under trying circumstances. The hero's team kept telling us it was awesome and getting better all the time. I had my doubts but gave them the benefit of the doubt. They still had my trust and i believed them when they told me how great season 3 was going to be.

Season 3... was bad. really bad. It didn't make sense. it was clear that the promises made in season 1 just weren't going to happen. but yet the people from the show said it was the best ever.. this was what they wanted to do and it was great. So either they were lying to me or they just didnt know how to do it. The show was dull. there was no obvious signs of improvement. I felt cheated and let down as a viewer.

Season 3.5
Things had to change.. it had to get back to being good very quickly. After 2 episodes things had only got worse. The internal logic of the show made no sense. After 2 episodes I decided that this was a waste of time. I resigned as a viewer and a fan of Heroes, and it was a huge weight off my shoulders.

At this point it may have got better. I don't know. I don't care. I've been swindled into watching seasons 2 and 3, and I'm happier now not watching it then i was when i was watching it.

My wife actually has just bought series one on DVD and Its actually quite fun watching it again... but our little joke is that we pretend it ended after the first series....
