Lindsay Lohan has been missing alcohol counseling meetings, so she's been given more time. Is this because she's a celebrity?

The judge did warn that she will go to jail if she does not attend the required number of meetings this time, but is this still too lenient?

I think so... I mean though Lindsay Lohan is a trash, she's still popular and is still considered as a celebrity. Sometimes being a public figure gives you some perks and benefits. And I think this situation proves it, plus there are more situations out there proving that celebrities as well as other other influential people always get their way.

I really don't understand why she doesn't get in trouble. Before she was 21 she was found being drunk in bars and clubs and all she gotten was a slap on the wrist and a trip to rehab. If I did that, I would have to pay fines and maybe even jail time. I guess she is aloud to do stuff we can't because she is a celebrity. I wouldn't have been awarded more time.

Of course it's because she is a celebrity! Celebrities get away with a lot more it seems...and they get more lenient sentencing...How much has Paris Hilton gotten away with? I think it's ridiculous....it almost seems like a celebrity could get away with murder.
