What would you want a boy to do if the situations were reversed?
First, be considerate of his feelings. Simply explain to him that you know he likes you, but you don't feel the same way about him. It's never easy to hurt someone, so being as gentle as possible is necessary. Boys have feelings too.
If you do like him as a friend, and like hanging out with him, let him know this, but leave it up to him if he still wants to do so.
Just be kind, and be fair, and be honest, and it will all work out.

Make it clear to him so that he doesn't sit and expect his feelings to be returned. But do it in a gentle way and do it in a way that doesn't lead him on. so many times people say things like maybe in the future.. or not at this time, and those sayings lead a guy to think there is a future. Be kind but be clear.
