YES, I feel many of the movies are way too graphic, and even if I do not watch them with my grandchildren since they live in another state, I do not personally appreciate being subjected to sex, nudity, profanity, etc.

I have been very disappointed to see a well-touted popular movie with too many graphic scenes that are totally unnecessary to the story line.

I loved the old-fashioned "clean" movies and am happy to find many new ones in that category on Hallmark TV, for instance. It is a real pleasure to see a good story without any of the uncalled-for scenes and talk. And they must be popular because they are often repeated many times on Hallmark.

I wouldn't say 40's and 50's but it would be nice to be able to sit down with my family and watch a movie without all the sex and nudity. Almost the only thing that is "family oriented" anymore is Disney and how much fun is it to watch that when you are 15?

NO! If anything we are still too prim.
Even some action and horror movies self censor to get a PG or PG 13. Late night adult shows still can't swear or show nudity on Telivision.

We can't even show @#$! George Carlin bits on late nigt telivision, that is cause for concern!

Don't get me wrong there should always be family friendly shows.
Yet shows for adults should not have to worry about swears or even nudity in my humble opinion.

I wish they were cleaner. I haven't seen an adult movie, meaning PG13 or R in years. All we watch on television is Disney, Food Network and the History channel. Part of that is my interest, but I do miss being able to watch a good action movie. Yes, it is my choice because I choose to not have my daughter view those things yet, but it would be nice if I could catch something clean that wasn't animated or starred a Disney character.

I don't see how any of the language or graphic scenes add to the movie most of the time. It's a waste to be doing it or including it just because you can. I'd much rather be given a good movie with an original plot than something gory with amazing special effects. That's the problem with horror movies. Most of the time the story sucks and it's just gory for the sake of being gory.

IDK, some people enjoy that and am in no way qualified to choose what other people watch. Just me and the 6 year old and the craving for a an original plot that hasn't been done a million times, remade or is nonexistent.
