Without a doubt, "It's a Wonderful Life". I watch it every year, and each time I watch it, I see something I I never saw before. I love the black & white effect, and Jimmy Stewart has always been one of my favorites.

My best Christmas movie is the 1989 movie National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. It stars Chevy Chase, Beverly D'Angelo, Juliette Lewis, and Randy Quaid. This movie was hilarious back when I first saw it with my family and it's still so much fun to watch. It just puts you in the Christmas spirit. Watch it with the whole family, they will all love it!

I love "Smoky Mountain Christmas," with Dolly Parton. It's a story of life, love, and celebration. This movie usually comes on CMT several times @ Christmas. Always makes you aware of kindness during the holidays, and thankful that you're around one more year to watch your kids.

Charlie Brown Christmas. Same answer for both questions.

Linus' recitation of the Christmas story is one of the most beautiful and poignant Christmas performances of all time.

Oh, it has to be National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Hands down.

The humor is *almost* a little too close to home and what family Christmases have really been like. Any Chevy Chase doubters will even have to admit this movie will make you laugh. And it always just fills me with the Christmas spirit. I love to watch it while I wrap gifts and bake cookies.

Hooray, it's almost time to dust off my dvd copy of it again!

My favorite Christmas story or movie is "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens. I saw it when I was a child and I always love to see it again during the holidays. My daughters like it very much. There are many versions of it and some are modified but what I like about this movie is the lesson that one can get from it. My eyes became open to the reality of what really is important and why we celebrate Christmas. I think everyone of us can identify somehow in the characters of the story.

I love A Christmas Story. It kind of reminds me of my childhood because Ralphie snuck little brochures of what he really wanted for Christmas in his mother's womens magazines and I did that too. I tore out pictures of a Barbie Limosine and put it in a book my mother was reading at the time and what do you know, it was under the Christmas tree on Christmas morning. Another movie I have always loved is not very popular. It was a made for tv movie starring Jacklyn Smith called The Night They Saved Christmas. I was lucky and found the prerecorded VHS for sale at Best Buy years and years ago. But I can't find anywhere except for ebay to but it on DVD and it is very expensive on ebay, because the dvd is so rare. Anyway those are my picks for favorite Christmas movies, hope it helped, and have a very merry Christmas.

A more recent favorite of mine is Elf. It is very funny, but still captures the magic of Christmas!

But an old favorite of mine is How the Grinch Stole Christmas (the cartoon)I watched it just before Christmas every year when I was growing up. I still watch it every year with my daughter.
