Answered Conundrum Next Conundrum
Have you ever grilled outside in the cold months?
There is snow outside, but I have a new recipe that requires me to use the barbecue grill. I am thinking about bringing the grill in the garage and leaving the garage door wide open for ventilation. Am I crazy or have you grilled before in the freezing cold?

On a sunny day, I will grill outside, snow or not snow, cold or not cold. I really do prefer the all outdoor grilling. I personally find grilling in a garage too dangerous.
We also have an open fireplace in both of our cottages and if we feel like grilling something then the fire is burning anyway in winter, we just push a few branches to the side and heap up some embers and off we go and grill everything we want to grill.
When my brother and I were real young, we just loved to go out in the woods, snow everywhere, and find a little place under a tree where we could make a small fire to grill a few sausages. And yes, my mom gave us the matches and the sausages, but always kept a watchful eye over us when grilling out in winter time.

I am a baby when it comes to the snow. I stay inside and hibernate. I have never grilled outside during the cold months. I would rather wait until it is nice and sunny outside.
My neighbors occasionally grill when it is cold or even raining. They put their grill right inside their garage, so it is just a push from being outside. I assume you must be really safe if grilling in the garage. As I mentioned, get as close to outside as you can. You need great ventilation.
For all I know maybe it is recommended to use the grill completely outside.
Now eating grilled food now sounds great! I miss the grilled hot dogs, burgers and chicken. We have come up with some great recipes for cooking on the grill.
