If served at dinner, I would replace the bottle of wine.
I would place the wine with the fallen cork into a decanter, make a joke about it falling in and let people know that the wine in the decanter was the one with the cork. I doubt anyone would care, but just in case, I would make sure that there was another bottle on the table.

Has the bits of cork fallen into the wine bottle? If so, you could possibly run it through a strainer and see if most of it was removed, but only if you are doing it in private in the kitchen.
If it's in front of guests, take the bottle into the kitchen and bring out another. If you have no other, ask the guests if they'd mind if you strained it. They might prefer to have strained wine than none at all. I know I would!

When this happens with my family and friends, we laugh it off, poor it anyway and remove the bits of cork ourselves from our individual glasses. I've actually seen a whole cork get pushed into the bottle by accident and we just poured it as it was cork inside and all. It was an interesting night and gave us something to laugh about every time we get together!
I really like the idea of straining it that Waulok mentioned! Go with that if no one minds! But otherwise you can set the "corked" bottle aside for your own pleasure later and just try again with a new bottle.

I'd keep it on the down-low, and just roll with it. For the duration of that entire bottle of wine, I'd keep refilling guests glasses in the kitchen. Whenever I pour a glass and some cork gets poured into the glass, I'd dump out the whole glass into the sink and pour a fresh one until I have a clean corkless glass to serve them.
If there's a whole bunch of cork pieces, then I'd chuck the bottle (by "chuck" I mean stick in back of refrigerator for me to drink with a good book the following night) and start fresh.
