Wine pairing with ham can be tricky because of the saltiness. I find an off-dry white wine is great because the little bit of sweetness really stands up to the salt and can also counterbalance the smokiness if you're doing a smoked ham. Riesling is a great choice - good ones to look for are:
- Hugel Riesling, Alsace (France) - $19
- Trimbach Riesling, Alsace (France) - $17
- Chateau Ste. Michelle Riesling, Columbia Valley (Washington) - $9

If you prefer a red wine, I would suggest a lighter bodied red such as Pinot Noir or even a Cru Beaujolais or Beaujolais-Villages, such as:
- Louis Latour Beaujolais-Villages "Chameroy" - $10
- Mark West Pinot Noir, California - $10
- Cloudline Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley (Oregon) -$20

Sula’s Riesling is a fruity aromatic wine with hints of green apples, grapefruit, peach & honey... It tastes awesome with smoked ham!!
