Just to correct the French; it is "Bon appetit".
In Japanese, it is "itedekimas", for "thanks for the meal" -
and in Korean, it is "jal-muk-get-seup-ni-da", which is the same meaning.

Around here they say "Chow down".

Further to the east, they tend to say, "Dig in"

In Germany, they say "Mahlzeit". I'm not German, though - I just study the language.
In Canada, it's just "LET'S EAT!"

In Indonesia: Selamat Makan. "Selamat" is a common greeting word, means safely. "Makan" means eating.
