Yes. I know there are a lot already who eat this Asian food we call 'balut' but a lot still find this disgusting including my sister, lol. I love to eat 'balut' but I make it sure that it's 15-16 days yet. If the chick inside has grown obviously esp. the feathers then I'd pass it to my husband. I just can't swallow it. And I would love to eat 'balut' with so sour vinegar mixed with hot chili and other spices. It makes me crave for more! Come try taste it!

Yes. I know that many people find Durian has disgusting smell and most people from Western countries can't stand it, not even Andrew Zimmern from the Bizarre Food TV shows and he's eaten a lot strange food. When I first claimed the page durian at mahalo.com, I read that the writer described the fruit taste like unwashed socks. lol. But I dont think it smells similar at all. Durian is certainly very pungent, but they smell sweet. I smelled truffle once and I went ugghhh....
