My friend opened a fancy restaurant and wants me to visit. I don't want to pay that much for the food. What should I do?

Probably you can just be frank with your friend and tell your him/her about you not wanting to pay for expensive food. Or just order something simple like a sandwich and some drink. It does not hurt to be honest. atleast to you. Or visit his fancy restaurant when you are ready to try their food, which would be a good experience , hopefully is the food is really good.
