Sex or chocolate? Which could you live without most easily and why?

A difficult question for some of the ladies I would think.
The cocoa bean has a lot to answer for.
I know you'll have this dilemma but if you did which way would you go, sex or chocolate?
Are there any men out there who'd take the chocolate?

Chocolate. I could give up sex more easily. And I LOVE sex. Really. Lots. Majorly.

But I *crave* chocolate in a different and more persistent way, once a month chocolate is my best-best friend. It's everywhere and I think it would be harder to resist, whereas sex isn't in your face as much. I think after a while I would start to only vaguely miss sex. But chocolate I would miss every single day of my life.

Plus, there are...substitutes...for sex that could get me by. There aren't any substitutes for chocolate that would be acceptable.

A really good single origin espresso made from medium-dark freshly roasted Yemen Mocha beans and served as a slightly sweetened cappuccino can come surprisingly close to chocolate. It is every bit as rich, has a velvety smooth texture and a pleasing mild dark chocolate bitterness. With a bit of whole foamed milk for creaminess, it is amazingly similar to a world class hot chocolate and will give you even more of a lift. This coffee is actually why the word mocha came to be associated with chocolate as when Europeans first were exposed to chocolate the flavor reminded them of this coffee.

I'd say keep the sex and use this drink to make up for the lost chocolate as my proposed substitute will come closer to the real thing than your proposed ...substitute... :)

Joking aside, if you like chocolate that much you MUST try this drink sometime. Unfortunately, you'll need to find someone with a great grinder and home espresso set up as you probably will never see this served as a single origin espresso in an ordinary coffee shop. Brewing it as regular coffee with give you a faint hint of what I am talking about, but it's not even close to the espresso/cappuccino version I described above. Whenever I make this for guests, even people who don't think that they like coffee like it. I've been told by multiple people that it's is the best coffee drink they have ever tasted in their lives.

(Sorry, I'm a raving coffee nut so if this sounds hyper-specific and crazy feel free to laugh it off; just thought it would be a taste experience that you would enjoy if you can ever find it.)

Chocolate. It's bad for you anyway. It's loaded with calories and sugar. Peace!

I'd like to see some solid research showing how chocolate is bad for you.

If I had enough sex, I would not "need" chocolate (but, ohhhh, how I would miss it). If I had enough chocolate, I would not "need" sex (but, ohhhhhh, how I would miss it). I have lived the greater portion of my adult life without sex and used chocolate (and, um, other things) to "get me by" - but I would give chocolate up cold turkey in a New York minute for a long-term, loving, supportive, sex-filled relationship.

Thankfully, I will never have to make the choice - as of right now, I have both! (Yep! My life is GOOD).

I used to enjoy good sex, but well those days are gone. Until I find another willing male participant, I gotta have my chocolate.

"Candy is dandy, but Sex won't rot your teeth!" I remember my stepfather having this on his toolbox. As young teenagers we all got quite a kick out of it. I think it was because we were just saying the word "sex". At fifty-four, it seems quite comical to think back on those times!

Here's a cute musical video called "I want candy!". Despite the picture seen on the screen, it's still an entertaining video. Thank God for dentist!
