Christmas!
Whole leg of lamb tandoori-style cooked in a covered BBQ like a Webber with some weird smoking chips to add extra flavor - the meat melted in your mouth it was so tender and rich!

I think the trick was marinating the whole leg the night before and using the slow covered BBQ method...wow!

Looked like the picture below but with lamb :)

Christmas is hot - we made salads and my grandmother had a very strange salad dish she used to make, thin slices of orange alternated with thin slices of onion, served in a flat dish with white wine vinegar and ground black pepper - weird combination but refreshing and delicious. Also looks really cool with thin orange and white stripes in the dish :)

I suppose it's not "exotic" per say but I'd surely never had it. My husband made duck and goose last year. It was delicious.. I like it better than Turkey.

My dad also served bear one year along with the turkey.
