Heck, no, I'm lucky to get two whole hot dogs down anyway! I'd tell my boss to pick someone else.
I think eating contests are disgusting, too, and it makes me want to puke just watching them. And it doesn't seem right for people to shove as much food down their throats as possible when so many people in the world are starving to death.

Why sure! I don't see why this is a conundrum. What is the down side? I probably would not win, but why turn down free hot dogs and a chance at fame and fortune? Just a souvenir photo of the contest would be great.
It was unfair to choose no best answer

Probably not, because I tend to get sick after eating so much and so fast. I would tell him that I may not be the right candidate and that I am undergoing a strict diet but would come and support (with cases of Maalox) whomever decides to go.
