I ABSOLUTELY believe in paranormal activity!

Through the years, I've seen things and I've "sensed" things but one evening took away any lingering doubts.

The day was Memorial Day, 2006. I knew something of my boyfriend's "talents" and never questioned him but didn't understand my own. During the course of our conversation we began talking about my grandmother who had passed away almost 2 years prior. He told me she was there, in the room with us. It was hard for me to accept even though I had other experiences before that. With one word, he changed my thoughts.

"Hush"

Through all of our time together, he never would have obtained knowledge of one of Gramma's favorite sayings to excited grandchildren who were being a bit obnoxious and loud. Gramma believed that children should be seen and not heard and when we were a bit too rambunctious she would admonish us with a simple "Hush". We didn't meet until 9 months after Gramma died.

A little while later I was crying, trying to reconcile that single word - "Hush". We were holding hands and I had leaned back with my eyes closed trying to understand how he could have known. In an instant, the hand I was holding changed and there is no doubt at all that it was Gramma's hand. I cried out, so shocked at the familiar touch that I missed so much.

I 100% believe in supernatural beings.

I've seen too much, I've heard too much. I've lived it. I've seen the faces in reflections of screens and mirrors. I've seen things move/disappear/reappear with no possible real explanation. I've felt the temperature drop in a space, or an unexpected fragrance enter, followed by the stirring of inanimate objects. I've heard disturbances that would've been in place in the movie (sounds of paper tearing loudly in the middle of the night for no reason, storm doors slamming over and over again).

I don't think I'd ever try to convince anyone else of such an existence, because unless you've been there and felt the cold temperatures, and seen the silhouettes, seen things move, then I can understand why it's not easy to believe.

The motion picture itself was creepy, and I think strikes at what we fear the most from supernatural entities, but is (thank the gods!) not a realistic experience. Not only is it much more vivid, personal, and terrifying, but even the mythology doesn't seem to make a lot of sense. They knew how to strike a nerve in what chills people though!

Yes, I believe in the paranormal, although I've never experienced paranormal activity myself. The Bible tells us that it exists, but that man needs to stay out of its business. I never have cared for movies that deal with the occult or those ghost-chaser TV shows, anyway. I don't even read horoscopes.
