It would seem that the White House, the Senate and the House of Representatives are unaffected, as none of them have lost their jobs, their homes, nor have they experienced a decrease in pay. In addition to this, at a time when everyone else is tightening their belt and sacrificing to prioritize spending, congress goes on record breaking spending sprees that will very likely bankrupt our country if not abated. Finally, those folks seem completely unaware that millions of their constituents have been put out of their jobs and houses and instead of helping those individuals, who are now homeless and hungry, they take the tax money those people paid and use it to reward the very bankers that were responsible for turning people out of their homes, and the very corporations who were responsible for putting them out of work. They fuss and argue about health care, while the country struggles with homelessness and joblessness. It's the economy.

Please excuse my rant.

Texas has been hit less hard than most places.

That's because this isn't random spending. They have had a plan to bankrupt this country since they couldn't get the economy to work the way they wanted it to, back when the Bush family was in office. By 'They' I mean the bankers. Moneychangers have controlled this country since the Federal Reserve was given all the power over the banking industry.
