YES, I have replaced my regular job as a Legal Assistant with an online job writing articles, news releases, information for sales brochures, travel pieces, and all types of subjects for several websites.

It works for me because of my age and being retired, but, in all honesty, the amount of money I am able to earn is more "fun money" to pay for "extras" than it is enough to pay for my lifestyle.

However, over the years I have set aside earnings for my retirement years from the many years of working those regular jobs, so now I can make those earnings work for me when needed over and above what I can pay for with my Social Security.

I do love being able to have my social times when I want them (including during the weekdays when I could not when I had an office job) and work my "writing business" in when I am able to be at home.
