When you have a dream you should never give up. There may be people saying you should give up on it or that you've been pursuing it so long now it'll probably never happen. Let them talk and use it to push your self even more. Nobody said it was going to be easy.

The only reason to stop pursuing a dream is if it's destroying your family. Nothing is worth that.

My parents always said "If there's a will there's a way". If I wanted something so badly I have to keep my eye on that thing. Learn to focus and strive towards that goal. There are dreams that became a reality and there are dreams that were just meant to be dreams. So, when do I give up on my dreams? If I have exhausted all my efforts and I am facing a brick wall, I will give up on it. If I know that my dream is impossible and that it is no longer realistic for me to achieve it. I have also to consider a lot of factors and priorities in life. Maybe, I may want that dream so much but due to some circumstances that cannot be avoided it is no longer feasible to pursue it any further and I am certain that it won't make much difference if I achieve it or not. It became insignificant then, I will give up on it.

Simple, when following that dream could be self distructive or distructive to those around you.

I gave up on my acting dream to settle into a job with fair pay and good benefits, this helps myself and my wife.

I am looking into opportunities to do voice acting from home as a side job so I guess I just changed the dream a bit ^_^
