To ask this question I'm assuming you already registered here, so you must mean on another site but you don't list the site.
I would say if registration is free go ahead, what could it hurt? If it costs something you may want to be sure you'll be sticking to it.

Are you talking about a Web site? If there aren't any obvious signs of scamming or phishing, go for it! The worst that can happen is that you'll forget about it, and the best that can happen is that you'll find a way to spend your time and have fun.

I'll assume you might have registered on Mahalo or Yahoo which gives you access to this site.
You can still always log In that way, for now.
I did last night for the same reason. And then had fun answering two questions.
It's free, interesting, thought provoking, and strange, all at the same time.
I won't be spending my life here, but i'm sure I'll be stopping by from time to time.
I control my computer, my computer doesn't control me.
Stick with the world around you and have fun.
