Oho...I not just dislike sleep also hate. In a general day I pass 5/6 hours in sleeping. So if there were any sleep in night surely I would answer more than 20 questions.

Now I still hating sleep because when you made live conversation with @lon last day then I had to go sleep. Because this tutorial was started at 2.00/3.00 am of my local time.So I'm missing the tutorials. Oh.s--t...if there were no sleep I could view the live tutorial.

If I could live without sleep,I would want because it will give me some exra hours to work. I also calculate that if we sleep approximately 6 hours per day so we loss 1/4 of total time of our life in sleeping......Oh...s--t!!!

Thanks @bestp your all questions are little different and interesting....I also processing some other question of you right now...

A great reason for no sleep, you want to stay up and listen to @lon - a very good reason.

I will try to keep the good questions coming.

I would be interested in a "Microwave bed" , say 8 hours in 8 mins would do me a treat. Just not enough hours in the day sometimes :-)

I don't sleep. Sleep is the cousin of death.

As long as I felt as awake and healthy as I do now, absolutely! It would be like having twice as much time as I do now to enjoy all those things I feel I don't have enough time for.

As a parent with a young child I'm currently getting a lot less sleep than I used to, and arguably less than I need. Sleep is really important in terms of letting you concentrate on things, thinking and memory. I can really tell the difference a good nights sleep makes to me.

So If I could get the l benefits of a good nights sleep, without the need to do it then yes I'd be very tempted to say yes.

My only worry is that I'd be losing out on dreams. I'm not sure of what benefit they actually give, But I am concerned that they are of benefit to your soul/spirit your hopes and aspirations. If losing my ability to dream lost some of my humanity then I'm not sure that it would be a fair trade.

Yes, definitely. Can't imagine what I'd accomplish if I had more time and didn't need to sleep.

Absolutely! I homeschool an over active 8 year old and by the time I get through that there's hardly any time to do what I want unless I want to stay up all night. Not a good option when you know you'll be up at 6 a.m.

At all? Probably not. Sometimes, on rare occasion, I like to sleep. Some of my best ideas for novels I'm writing came from a dream I had.

But if I could take a pill and feel completely refreshed and my body wouldn't suffer from lack of sleep - yes, I'd get by on little to now sleep. I do it now, mostly, but I pay for it. I'd like to do it and not pay for it!

Funny you should ask this, on my forum, we did this as a writing prompt not long ago. You can see the answers here if you'd like:
