What type of procrastination?
If it is in doing household chores, that will catch up with you, and you really need to make room in your schedule to take care of necessary things. But you don't have to do as much cooking at home, or as much grocery shopping, so that cuts down on the number of chores.
If you mean procrastination at work, that will not "fly". No matter what your social life is like, when at work, you need to concentrate on your job to the very best of your abilities. Without the income from your job, you won't be able to afford to enjoy your social life.
If you mean procrastination in telephoning or e-mailing or snail mailing your friends, if they are truly your friends, they will understand and be happy that you have finally gotten into a long-awaited social life. They should be willing to stand by and wait to hear the details and allow you the pleasures that you have been seeking.
