Truly victomless, no, there is no such thing. Most people consider a crime to be victomless when there is no direct impact on another, ie sitting at home doing drugs. However, there are still victims indirectly related to the crime, such as the drug users family/friends or the people affected throughout the supply chain for the drugs.

Suicide is a crime, someone with no family or friends who commits suicide, is the victom of their own crime.

There is no crime which is victimless, must be a victim directly or indirectly.

After viewing this wuestion, I thought a lot but found nothing without victimless. There are many crimes where is no direct victim but must have indirect victim.

Thanks

Hmm... I was going to say pot smoking, but the pot smoker is probably feeling victimized when busted.

And there's the rub of it... for if it was a victimless behavior before designation as a crime, then the perpetrator of that behavior now becomes the victim of that behavior if busted for it, so no... there is no such thing as a victimless crime.

If it's a real crime, then there is a real victim, and if it's a pseudo crime, then the person busted for it becomes a victim.

Hmm necrophilia is technically illegal. The bodies are already dead, so they can't feel a thing. In the past, homosexuality was a crime. They harmed no one if the act was consensual, on the contrary, the so called perpetrators were usually the victims if they were caught.
