Buy a zero degree sleeping bag. I personally do not recommend a mummy bag I think they are very uncomfortable. Get thermal underwear, wool socks, beanie and scarf. They also have chemical hand and foot warmers, you shake the packet and it emits 12 hours of heat. Bring plenty of firewood and warm drinks, tea or instant coffee. Good luck, have fun!

There are so many tips and tricks to camping in the cold - you have to think about bedding and clothing and food and activities.
So, I found two very good sites that list all the things you need to think about, and when I say all, I mean all, very extensive lists and really worth bookmarking, even if you're only going on a day walk :)
oh, looks cold!!!!
