This is a small win for net neutrality and in turn, all that is good with the world.
Companies such as AT&T are self proclaimed "carriers". They call themselves this because they carry voice and data traffic to different points on their networks. They're not called "the police" or the "governing body of telecommunications". They've built a network and charge people A LOT of money to use that network.
AT&T should not define any rules beyond technical limitations that protect the network they have built. Being able to reject iPhone apps is blasphemy and is, in many circles considered new age communisim.
