That was on All Soul's Day. Our neighbor passed away on July, just this year. That neighbor of ours was so strict that I once uttered silently a bad word against him. But when he got ambushed and killed, I really cried and I wished he were alive. On the night of All Soul's day, when I closed my eyes and fell asleep, it was as if he were in our bedroom and was approaching me. I wanted to move and to tell my husband that he was here but I couldn't. When I woke up, I told my husband that I dreamed of our neighbor. May God bless him wherever he is now.

I went through residential drug rehab treatment nearly a dozen years ago (in real life). A few nights ago I dreamed that all of us guys who went through treatment had gotten caught up in the life again and were all going to prison together as a gang and had to watch each others backs because of all the prison violence. It was awful, but I did the same thing I always do when I wake up from awful dreams. I said outloud "THANK GOD THAT WAS JUST A DREAM!!!"

Oh man.
When I have nightmares, they're usually really bad.
Things are in flashes (the parts I can remember) but here goes:

I have my family (my wife, me, my daughter who looks 12 and my son who looks like 6 - the weird thing in my wife is preggo with our only child, a boy).
I remember walking by a room and seeing it filled with shadows that slide around the walls and have reflecty-cat-eyes. It's early evening, but the room is completely dark with these moving demon shadows. I instantly feel panic and tell my family to get out of the house.

Somehow, my house is now a farm. And somehow, my son and I are on the roof and we're trying to get down. I also remember that the boy is perfectly calm and odly in good spirits (I, however, am still panicked). The two of us are crawling toards the back of the farm house to "safety." We get to the edge, jump off and in front of us is a dead horse. The dead horse's stomach is squirming from the inside. It bursts open and out spills dismembered arms and legs.

I usually wake up then terrified.
I must add that this is a semi recurrent dream - sometimes, it changesm, but those two things are constant. And I can almost always see them coming too, but I'm helpless to stop these things from happening. I must also note that no-one ever seems to get hurt in these dreams.

Any ideas what this means?

My most recent nightmare (and it is a frequent one recently) is I was in a plane and in mid air the plane just stopped functioning and it stalled for a while before it goes crashing down.

Another one is that I see two airplanes crashing in the middle of the city and one in the nearby river and I am trying to help the two only survivors (an young adult and a child) but the adult is drowning the child.

Anyways I have to say that nightmares do suck out the energy in me...

I keep a dream diary. So here's the most recent one I remember:

Monday, October 12, 2009: Overslept today, but with dreams like this, can you blame me? First, I check my e-mail. The fallout from the I had written the day before? Massive. Source e-mails me about the correction that didn't go to print, apparently, even though I distinctly remember fixing it. source sends me a very angry e-mail about various errors asking me to please use an interpreter when I write. another source e-mails me about I don't even know what. There were a few others, too, that I can't remember.

Just the other day, I dreamed about my boyfriend breaking up with me because he fell out of love and likes somebody else. :'( For me, that's a terrible nightmare. Just the thought of losing him shudders me.

I think it's not just my boyfriend but everyone I love... I can't lose any of them. That's why probably that's the worst recent nightmare I had.
