If I woke up blind, I would be devestated because I would no longer be able to see the faces of my children and grandchildren. I would no longer be able to work the way I do because my computer would have to be modified.
Not being able to talk may only be a problem if there was an emrgency. I have a way of getting my point across without words all the time so speech is not as necessary as some people may think.
If the internet stopped working, my house would be cleaner! I would need to find another job because my primary pay comes from what I do online.

If I woke up blind, I would require assistance to learn chores all over again, but I have seen a lot in my life and that's okay.
If I could not talk, I think it would prevent me from saying a lot of things that are unnecessary. It would also give me an excuse not to answer my cellphone, which I absolutely hate doing.
If the internet was no more, I would not be affected too terribly much. Things would quickly take the place of the time I used to spend online, and it would be nonissue. It would be very difficult on my husband though, and I'm sure hundreds of thousands of people would be disappointed.

I'd rather lose my voice than my sight. If I lost my voice, I could still get around on my own, drive a car, and perform all of my daily functions. I used to work in retail, and we occasionally would have mutes come in. They would just write out what they needed. As long as I could still hear, not being able to talk wouldn't bother me that much. There is always sign language, and there are computer devices that type out entire words with a keystroke.
I'd live without the internet. I lived without it for 41 years, so I could live without it now. It would be hard, because I make my money online, so if it suddenly ended, I'd be in a financial mess for awhile, trying ot figure out how to get my money out of PayPal, but I'm sure it would all work out. Of course, it would be harder to be a freelance writer without the internet, but writers did it for thousands of years, and all the classics were written by hand, some with quill pens, so I suppose we would all survive it. The internet dying would certainly give a boost to the newspaper and magazine industry.
I'm sure the economy would take a hit if the internet died, simply because so much business is done online every day, through companies like eBay, Amazon, and even Craigslist. Google would be bankrupt, as would Yahoo and MSN. Computers would go back to being basically what they were invented for.
Most of all, I would miss my friends online. I've made a lot of friends, and never bothered to exchange phone numbers or addresses with them, so if I couldn't find them online, I wouldn't be able to communicate with them at all. But I guess I'd go back to meeting people in my own neighborhood and city, and make more local friends.

If I woke up blind, I would seriously have to organize my house! I'd break bones trying to feel my way to the bathroom. I wouldn't have to worry about light bulbs anymore. I think it'd be cool to really use all your other senses to make up for the missing one. And I'd have a chance to experience the world in a new way. That would be awesome! And trying to picture a person in my head by feeling their face, that would be fun! Learning braille, I always wanted to learn that, would be so interesting. Reading by touch... the experience would be great!
If I woke up one morning and couldn't talk, I'd learn sign language and I'd be a better listener for my friends. I'd get to use my love of writing for something very useful and body language would have a whole new meaning.
If I woke up and the internet stopped working, I would have a clean house, a home cooked meal and I'd probably finish that afghan that I started. I would probably still be a hermit, but I would enjoy the solitude in a different way. I'd buy newspapers to keep in touch with the outside world and I'd probably write letters to my family and friends. I think I'd be a little more personable too.
No matter what you wake up to, make the best of it!
