Answered Conundrum Next Conundrum

While you are watching your friend's daugther in your home, your son entangles gum deeply into her hair. No matter how hard you try ...

... you cannot remove it from her hair without potentially having to cut a large chunk out of it. How do you explain this little mishap to your friend who is very overprotective of her child?

Have you tried peanut butter? Something about the oil in the peanut butter makes the gum come out of the hair without having to cut it.

Kids like to goof around, and sometimes things happen. I think most parents understand that reality. :)

Better yet, massage some peanut butter into the hair to loosen up the gum. I got gum stuck in my hair once as a kid -- this really does work!
