No, no, no, no. That's just a disaster waiting to happen. Not only is it unsafe, but even if you manage to escape unscathed, you're going to be uncomfortable enough that at some point you're probably going to snap. That driver is being very irresponsible, childish, and RUDE! When you have guests in your car you're supposed to go that extra 1,000 miles out of your way to be extra polite and cautious. If this person's ignoring that and driving like an angry maniac, then you're bound to snap at him/her. And then what? A big fight. Awkwardness. Hurt feelings.
If you're stuck with a road rager? Get out!
For your own safety and your friendship!

No, or at very least I would insist on being the driver.
Simply put, that person could get me killed.
If a person is easily rattled/angered while driving, I would strongly worry about how they would handle an emergency or an accident.

No... not if i had ANY choice in the matter whatsoever. Anyone who is prone to road rage isn't capable of being focused on the business at hand. Sooner or later they're going to have an accident and I really don't want to be there when it happens. The only question is will that accident happen before or after someone gets out of their car and hits him (and I don't want to be their when that happens either).
Apart from the risk of an accident, I really dislike being in the middle of anyone fighting and thats going to be the case going into work. So It would have to be a case of thanks but no thanks..

Nope. Been there, done that.
The guy was an idiot, and I finally told him that the carpool was off unless I was the driver from the time I got in the vehicle to the time when I got out.
He then (surprise) got road-ragey at me for suggesting there was a problem with his driving.
I didn't want to use my own vehicle for just a routine to-and-from work, plus there were zero benefits but lots of headaches doing rush-hour as a single-occupant vehicle, so I shifted to public transit, which turned out to be great because I could always make sure I'd done the day's prep-reading before getting in.
However, I was lucky to be living in a city that had decent public transit. It wouldn't have been that easy if I'd still been in the states for that job.
